Part of Seeing Quintuple by Tatiana Rosa, this virtual reality experience allows the audience to embody the life cycle of a star, from its birth to its final transformation, to the rhythm of musical compositions of Tatiana Rosa. The work incorporates a deliberate shift between shaded and wireframe rendering which is scripted to respond to FPS performance.

This visual transition embodies the instability of perception, suggesting that reality is scaffolded by hidden structures, systems and codes that remain invisible yet fundamentally shape our experience. By treating the inherent technical limitations of VR not as obstacles but as expressive material, this choice reveals the medium itself as part of the work's inquiry.

Media used: Unreal Engine 5, Blender

Presented at 4bid Gallery(2024), and Het Documentaire Paviljoen, IDFA(2025), Amsterdam.
