Giulia (Naples, IT) is a multimedia artist based in Amsterdam, integrating cross-disciplinary work on perception, science and ecology.
Her work questions existing theories and demarcations of reality through interactive installations, photographs, and science-based processes. By exploring these concepts, she invites a different perspective and reinterpretation of dreams and preconceived notions. In her works, she deconstructs images and visual symbols, often reshaping them to create new forms, seeking to understand the intricacy and the complexities of the human mind.

Tech fellowship at Rijksakademie in 2022, during which she researched sustainable alternatives to the chemicals used in the darkroom.
Residency at Studio Goppo in India in 2024 to research 19th century alternative photographic techniques.
